Breckenridge Wedding Planner: Ashley and Jonno

As a Breckenridge wedding planner I am often working with brides and grooms from other states. No complaints about that, but it’s always special to spend time planning with a local couple. Cue Ashley and Jonno. These two cuties met working together at ski school in Breckenridge, Colorado and wanted to have their fall wedding looking out at the mountains they love. Ashley kept the look classic yet rustic at The Lodge at Breckenridge with white florals and gold accents by Garden of Eden and an amazing chuppa from Tents and Events. Another local, DJ Clockwork was spinning the tunes and Drew Jensen of Drew Jensen Photography was there to capture it all. Mozal tov!
Colorado Wedding Planner: Rachael & Zach

Such a gorgeous day and an even more gorgeous couple! Rachael and Zach were married on Anticipation Run in Keystone, Colorado. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails on the deck at Timber Ridge. They also listened to the amazing string duo, Suite Talk. The reception followed with Suite Talk trading their strings for a DJ board. Everyone partied until the end of the night. A huge thank you to Joe Friend Photography for sharing the photos below! Also, I have to mention, the amazing florals are by Ladybird Poppy. My favorite flower being the Proteas (that white spiky flower in the first image). Did you know that it represents change and hope? I think it’s perfect for a wedding!
Vail Wedding Planner: Candace and Adam

Candace and Adam got married on top of Vail Mountain on the Vail Wedding Deck. The weather was as beautiful as the bride. Just kidding-not even close! We then moved down the mountain to the gorgeous Arrabelle at Vail square. Liz of Fluer de Liz made the whole room soft and glowing with custom candelabras and flowing fabric. Great Time DJ kept the crowd moving while Jason and Gina caught every amazing moment!
Candace and Adam live in Austin, but their New York City proposal story is one of my favorites! I always love to hear both sides of the proposal so here it is in their own words:
Candace: It was the most magical and incredible proposal I could have ever asked for! We went to New York City right around Christmas, so the city had that extra sparkle and holiday magic to it! Adam planned everything out perfectly (with the help of some of my friends), and it was the best weekend of my life! We took a stroll through Central Park, and unexpectedly Adam dropped to one knee and proposed on the Bow Bridge, I could not believe it. Then he took me back to the hotel, where two of our closest friends, Melissa and Barrett, had flown in from Texas to be a part of the weekend! Everyone celebrated all weekend, we moved from one fabulous restaurant to the next, and met up with more of my closest friends (Erienne, Betsy, and Sean) who all live in New York. From comedy shows to shopping in Soho, we really enjoyed all the sights and sounds the city had to offer, it was amazing.
Adam: I had the whole thing planed for months, I don’t know how I didn’t blow the surprise. Although Candace threw me a curve ball… I had planned to propose on a horse drawn carriage ride in the park, and Candace decided last minute that she didn’t want to take the carriage because it was cruel to the horse! So instead we took a pedi-cab around the park, which is essentially a human drawn carriage! But it all worked out, he let us off at the bridge and you know the rest. That’s why I love her, she’s got the biggest heart.

Keystone Wedding Planner: Jamie & Doug

Jamie and Doug. These two lovebirds were married this last summer on Anticipation Run outside of Timber Ridge in Keystone, Colorado. You could not ask for a better day! The wedding ceremony went off without a hitch. Fleur de Liz provided the gorgeous floral arrangements. I think there is so much to be said about doing simple/elegant decorations and letting that venue speak for itself. Jay at Standing Room Only had everyone dancing up until the couple’s fun grand exit. Their friends and family made a tunnel for them to run through and onto the gondola to start their life together as husband and wife. Colorado Wedding Planner: Stephanie & Kiel

Stephanie and Kiel. They were one of the most down to earth couples that I have had the pleasure of working with. Wedding planning can be pretty consuming. Two families coming together, so many emotions, not to mention the amount of money that goes into the weekend. Stephanie and Kiel hired every one of their vendors about 2 years out. They wanted to get everything done and have a plan in place so they could enjoy being engaged. SO cute! When the day (finally 😉 came around they were just so in love and ready to party! Leon Joseph Littlebird was their officiant and performed an unforgettable ceremony. With sage burning and everything! As you can see from the last photos below, Jay at Standing Room Only had everyone dancing the night away. A huge thank you to Katie Green of Katie Corinne Photography for the wedding photos!
