New Assistant Wedding Planner!

Meet Meredith Johnson! Meredith is a recent graduate of Valdosta State University and will be assisting us this summer. I asked her a few questions to help you all get to know her better. What’s your favorite color: Green.
Do you have any pets? A dog named Bandit, he’s a maltese/ yorkshire terrier mix!
What is your favorite thing about Colorado? The mountains!!! I grew up going to the beach all the time so, I love being IN the mountains like this!
What are your hobbies? Reading, biking, swimming… planning weddings has been a hobby for a while that I am finally pursuing a career in!
What is your best wedding moment? I once went to a wedding where the couple played this shoe game. Each couple had their own shoe in one hand and the other’s shoe in the other hand. They had their backs faced towards each other and were asked questions and they raised the shoe that best describes the scenario or question. The answers turned out to be super funny and everyone got really involved.
What is your favorite book? SO many!! House Rules by Jodi Picoult is one of my favorites though. Or Love the one you’re with by Emily Griffin, that one hit close to home when I read it so I lvoed that one as well!
What is your favorite movie? I don’t have a favorite movie I guess cause I love all the classics (Gone with the wind, Oklahoma, Pride and Prejudice) however there are the movies I watch at least once a month and they’re funny ones like Step Brothers, Dumb and Dumber, and The Emporer’s New Groove (yes that is a child’s movie). I’m always down for a suspenseful movie as well!
Where is the best place to have a wedding in Colorado? This one I don’t necessarily have an opinion yet because I haven’t seen enough venues. I’ll fix that this summer!
What is your best Breckenridge moment? When I first moved here, being from Georgia, I’d never seen this much snow or the colorful skis, I call them “cotton-candy” skis. Waking up early and going to work on my first day here was breath taking–I’ll never forget that
