Keystone Wedding Planner: Ali & Rob
Posted by elizabeth waldmann on May 18th, 2017
Ali and Rob. It was such a pleasure not only working with these two but also their incredible families. This is exactly how it should be when two families come together. All of the planning meetings and tastings were done with six people. Ali, Rob and both sets of parents. There was always so much joy and laughter. It was so fun to work with them. Rob’s father was actually given the honor of performing Ali and Rob’s ceremony. You don’t get much more family than that. On to the details! About an hour before ceremony time at the Keystone Ranch, the clouds rolled in, the wind picked up and it started raining. Everyone remained relatively calm. The wind was really howling and at one point it was raining sideways so I was really proud of them. I love couples like Ali and Rob because they took it in stride and were ready for anything. In true Colorado fashion the weather passed and we started the ceremony right on time. After that slight hiccup, everything went great. Ladybird Poppy‘s floral arrangement added just the right amount of green to the Keystone Ranch’s eclectic wedding tables. Everything was gorgeous! After dinner, guests were moved into the tent where Mannequin The Band absolutely rocked it. If it wasn’t for Caroline Colvin Photography I wouldn’t be able to share these amazing memories! Thank you Ali and Rob for allowing me to be a part of your amazing day and help you plan your wedding!

Colorado Wedding Planner: Candice and Marshall

Candice and Marshall’s wedding was a family affair! Marshall’s daughter Presley was included in every part of the day–from the sand ceremony to the first dance. Candice and Marshall rented the River Tree Lodge and got married on the shore of the Blue River. Spectacular! They enjoyed dinner and dancing in a gorgeous tent right on the property. As a Colorado wedding planner I am always thrilled to be part of a tent wedding–they are so creative! Salt Creek Steakhouse provided an amazing meal as DJ Spud of Elite Entertainment got the party going. Candice and her father put in hours of practice on their first dance and it was a hit! If that isn’t enough fun, the guests could head over to the Photo Booth and get some great snaps! A huge thank you to Melissa of Plum Pretty Photography for these amazing photos!
Breckenridge Wedding Planner: Mary & Steve
Posted by elizabeth waldmann on January 10th, 2017
Mary and Steve chose The Lodge at Breckenridge for their summer wedding. The day could not have been more perfect. As you can see from the photos the sky was blue and only a few clouds in the sky. We had the rehearsal the day before and it was so incredibly windy. So much so that I was getting a little nervous that it would continue on the day of their wedding. As luck would have it the only damage the wind caused on the day of was to take the veil right out of Mary’s hair. It sounds dramatic but it was before she walked down the aisle and nearly no one witnessed it. Phew! Mary’s aunt performed the ceremony for Mary and Steve and it was so heartwarming. Dave at Beggar’s Tunes kept the guests entertained with music, all night long. Bloom provided the gorgeous centerpieces. A big shout out to Corrie at Corrie Kraft Photography for these flawless photos! Enjoy!
Colorado Wedding Planner: My Favorite Moments of 2016
Posted by johnna-patton on December 30th, 2016
With less than two days until 2017 I find myself both thinking ahead and looking back. Every year at this time I dig through all of my photos from the previous year’s weddings and put together a group of my favorite shots. Writing this post reminds me of all those special moments that, as a wedding planner I was privileged to be a part of. Thank you!
