Colorado Wedding Planner: Jessica & Eric
Posted by elizabeth waldmann on February 20th, 2015
At the end of a long day of appointments with your clients the last thing you expect them to do is ask if they can move the last meeting to a restaurant to grab some beers and brauts. I knew I lucked out with this couple but after that, I knew I struck gold. Jess and Eric were fun loving and adventurous through the entire wedding planning process. They were in it for the ride and I just loved that about them. They were married at the Ski Tip Lodge in Keystone, Colorado. Because we were in the mountains and the scenery speaks for itself, Jess wanted pretty much anything local that came out of the ground to be looked at as beautiful and in her wildflower bouquet. Bec at Bec’s Blossoms was happy to oblige. You can see from the bridesmaids photo (yes, you counted right, 10 bridesmaids) that she also wanted everyone’s dress to be different which I think turned out amazing. It was such an amazing day! Thank you to Jess and Eric for choosing us to be your mountain wedding planners! Also a big thank you goes out to Lisa at Story Lens Photography for capturing and sharing these awesome photos!

To top the wedding experience off, the couple invited guests from all over the globe to enjoy a week of wedding fun! How adorable is that? It was just like a mini vacation to celebrate the love between Mallory and Mitch. The day was full of laughs and smiles, and this couple sure knew how to throw a party! Look through the images and you may even be inspired to have a mountain top wedding! Thank you IN Photography for capturing the day!
Timber Ridge Wedding Planner: Katie and Curtis

Katie and Curtis brought a little bit of the Big Easy to Keystone, Colorado. The bride and groom put together a mountain version of a second line parade! The second line is a brass band parade; the “main line” or “first line” is the main section of the parade – generally the bride & groom in front followed by the band – and the “second line” is all of the wedding guests following and dancing behind. Participants often twirl around a feathered parasol or handkerchief, and this is called “second lining.” The parade typically is also the walk from the church to the wedding reception venue. Katie and Curtis improvised and took their second line on a walk around the stunning venue Timber Ridge!
Alpenglow Stube Wedding Planner: Carrie & Mike

This wedding was such a fabulous family affair. Carrie and Mike were married on top of a mountain in Keystone, Colorado. The day was gorgeous and everyone was full of smiles. After the ceremony at the Keystone Keytop Overlook, guests were swept away in a gondola to the Alpenglow Stube for the reception. The couple incorporated so many personal touches. For example instead of table numbers they had the names of some of their favorite bands. Love! A big thank you to Becky at Black Forest Photo for these awesome photos!
Colorado Mountain Wedding Planner: Kylie & Chad

Kylie and Chad were one of those couples that you could just see the love. Even at the rehearsal the night before, they were beaming. The happy couple got married on top of a mountain in beautiful Keystone, Colorado. Close friends and family traveled mainly from the midwest to see these two get married. The two gondolas up did not disappoint, I’m sure. My ultimate favorite part of this wedding? When they got on stage with the band Deja Blu. They were having a blast! Thank you Chris Humphreys Photography for these awesome photos!
