Recycled/Green Wedding Details: Baby’s Breath
Posted by elizabeth waldmann on October 31st, 2013
Baby’s Breath is not only a less expensive alternative to flowers but also a much greener option. If you purchase organic baby’s breath, you are saving gallons off pesticides that would normally be used on flowers. At the end of the night, the baby’s breath can just be tossed into the compost along with the food scraps. Plus baby’s breath is huge this season and I think very beautiful! Thank you Rachael from Rachael Grace Photography for these awesome photos!
Keystone Wedding Planner: Katie & Jonathan’s Rehearsal Party
Posted by johnna-patton on October 29th, 2013
To welcome their guests before the big day, Katie and Jonathan held a rehearsal party at the Keystone Ranch in Keystone, Colorado. With everyone coming from out of town, they thought it would be a great opportunity for people to meet before the wedding and for them to catch up with friends and family they don’t often get to see. The evening started with lawn games and ended with some serious boogying in the tent! Everyone enjoyed hanging out at Keystone Ranch and Katie and Jonathan loved hosting a casual reception before the more formal wedding celebration.
Keystone Wedding Planner: Kesha & David
Posted by elizabeth waldmann on October 24th, 2013
From the beginning of the day, you could tell that this group liked to have fun! Kesha and David were married on a beautiful day at the Keystone Ranch in Keystone, Colorado. After their ceremony guests danced the night away to Tori Pater’s Band. Being wedding planners, we hear so much of the same wedding music. Tori Pater brought such a different variety and had the crowd rocking! Ophelia was my fave. Thank you Four Cornered Photography for these awesome photos!
“Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, everyone had a fantastic time and were blown away by the Ranch!!! Thank you so much for everything! We would not have pulled this off with your help. We greatly appreciated your caring and professional touch.” ~Kesha
Recycled/Green Wedding Details: Reusable Wedding Centerpiece
Posted by elizabeth waldmann on October 18th, 2013
Rachael from Rachael Grace Photography came up with the idea of having succulents or herbs as wedding centerpieces for our Green/Recyclable Wedding Challenge. I couldn’t love this idea more. It acts as double duty because after they act as centerpieces, guests can take the succulents and herbs home. Instead of giving a favor that can pollute the environment, you can give a favor that will brighten a home and make your guests think of you every time they look at it.
