Breckenridge Wedding Planner: Ashley and Jonno

As a Breckenridge wedding planner I am often working with brides and grooms from other states. No complaints about that, but it’s always special to spend time planning with a local couple. Cue Ashley and Jonno. These two cuties met working together at ski school in Breckenridge, Colorado and wanted to have their fall wedding looking out at the mountains they love. Ashley kept the look classic yet rustic at The Lodge at Breckenridge with white florals and gold accents by Garden of Eden and an amazing chuppa from Tents and Events. Another local, DJ Clockwork was spinning the tunes and Drew Jensen of Drew Jensen Photography was there to capture it all. Mozal tov!
Keystone Wedding Planner: Jamie & Doug

Jamie and Doug. These two lovebirds were married this last summer on Anticipation Run outside of Timber Ridge in Keystone, Colorado. You could not ask for a better day! The wedding ceremony went off without a hitch. Fleur de Liz provided the gorgeous floral arrangements. I think there is so much to be said about doing simple/elegant decorations and letting that venue speak for itself. Jay at Standing Room Only had everyone dancing up until the couple’s fun grand exit. Their friends and family made a tunnel for them to run through and onto the gondola to start their life together as husband and wife. Keystone Ranch Wedding: Clare & Michael

The Keystone Ranch has to be one of my favorite venues. I love the quirkiness of the dining room, the history in the lounge area, the modern feel in the tent and the mountain view of the golf course ceremony site. It just seems like you get so much of every feel at the Ranch. I think this is what makes couples choose to have their weddings at the Ranch. Clare and Micheal included. These two cuties said their I do’s at the Ranch. The wedding party walked down the aisle to the music of the Heart Strings Music. After the ceremony guests flowed into the tent and on the lawn for cocktail hour. Next guests moved into the dining room for a Keystone Ranch dinner. Delicious! And the center pieces, love! The garland is very in right now and Lindsay at Pots and Petals nailed the look. After that guests danced the night away to Great Time DJ. Keystone Wedding Planner: Julie & Tyler

Julie and Tyler. Such amazing people! We did a ‘Day of’ plan for them at the Keystone Ranch in Keystone Colorado and man, I wish we had been working together from the beginning. Being around these two for about 5 days just wasn’t enough!
Like so many weddings this past summer, we had the rain to contend with. I had been diligently watching the weather satellite from the moment I arrived at the Keystone Ranch. Thankfully they have an amazing system because they need to keep their golfers safe from lightning. After much time going back and forth about whether or not to go outside for the ceremony, I looked at Julie and asked her when you look back, would you be happier wet and outside or dry and inside. We have a window of time that might stay dry if we go now. She said, “let’s go outside!” That second the Keystone Ranch staff ran outside with their towels, dried chairs and we started the ceremony. We had gotten through the entire processional and I had just sent down Julie and her dad. Of course, it started raining. At that point, there was no turning back. So Julie did what makes any wedding planner proud, she kicked off her shoes and headed towards her awaiting groom. I’m so happy she made the decision to go outside because at the end of her wedding she came up to me and said “you know what my favorite part of today was? Getting married in the rain” Urg! I still get chills thinking about it and writing about it now. It goes down as one of my favorite wedding moments. And those photos! You can’t get clouds like that without a little rain 🙂 Thank you Dylan at Dylan Crossley Photo for the jaw dropping photos!
