Colorado Wedding Planner: Rachael & Jay

Rachael and Jay had a Rocky Mountain wedding at Timber Ridge on top of North Peak in Keystone, Colorado. As a Colorado wedding planner I work with many different personalities each wedding season. I have to say Rachael and Jay were pure joy! These two were crazy about each other and had such a great sense of humor I just have to share. I love it when a couple can inject humor into their wedding day. Exhibit A: See below for a photo of their wedding day favors. Exhibit B: Jay and Rachael’s family had a surprise video for Rachael. Apparently Rachel tried out for the dive team in high school and had a video of her not so stellar performance. Rachel’s sister not only showed the video at the wedding–Jay and Rachel’s entire family went to the same pool and shot a video of each of them mimicking her dive. It’s true! The whole room was in tears. A huge thank you to IN Phtotography for capturing all of the fun that day.
Colorado Wedding Planner: Kelsey & Erin

Kelsey & Erin. It is hard to find words to describe this wedding but if I had to pick two they would be:
- Sophisticated
- Elegant
From the gorgeous lace on Kelsey’s gown to the gold accents of all the tablescapes. To say it was stunning is an understatement. The day was gorgeous and these two had their ceremony on Anticipation Run in Keystone Colorado. The wedding party walked into the music from Michael Lancaster. After the nuptials guests continued up to Timber Ridge for the reception. They were greeted by the thoughtful florals of Ladybird Poppy. I mean, check out that mantle! So much lush, green garland. Following dinner the party was on. Jay at Standing Room Only kept the tunes going all night. Thank you to Jenna Noelle Photography for capturing and sharing the photos below!
Keystone Ranch Wedding: Clare & Michael

The Keystone Ranch has to be one of my favorite venues. I love the quirkiness of the dining room, the history in the lounge area, the modern feel in the tent and the mountain view of the golf course ceremony site. It just seems like you get so much of every feel at the Ranch. I think this is what makes couples choose to have their weddings at the Ranch. Clare and Micheal included. These two cuties said their I do’s at the Ranch. The wedding party walked down the aisle to the music of the Heart Strings Music. After the ceremony guests flowed into the tent and on the lawn for cocktail hour. Next guests moved into the dining room for a Keystone Ranch dinner. Delicious! And the center pieces, love! The garland is very in right now and Lindsay at Pots and Petals nailed the look. After that guests danced the night away to Great Time DJ. Keystone Wedding Planner: Ali & Rob

Ali and Rob. It was such a pleasure not only working with these two but also their incredible families. This is exactly how it should be when two families come together. All of the planning meetings and tastings were done with six people. Ali, Rob and both sets of parents. There was always so much joy and laughter. It was so fun to work with them. Rob’s father was actually given the honor of performing Ali and Rob’s ceremony. You don’t get much more family than that. On to the details! About an hour before ceremony time at the Keystone Ranch, the clouds rolled in, the wind picked up and it started raining. Everyone remained relatively calm. The wind was really howling and at one point it was raining sideways so I was really proud of them. I love couples like Ali and Rob because they took it in stride and were ready for anything. In true Colorado fashion the weather passed and we started the ceremony right on time. After that slight hiccup, everything went great. Ladybird Poppy‘s floral arrangement added just the right amount of green to the Keystone Ranch’s eclectic wedding tables. Everything was gorgeous! After dinner, guests were moved into the tent where Mannequin The Band absolutely rocked it. If it wasn’t for Caroline Colvin Photography I wouldn’t be able to share these amazing memories! Breckenridge Wedding Planner: Darienne and Charlie

We met Darienne and Charlie for coffee in Breckenridge and six months later they were married at Ten Mile Station. Darienne had an etheral beauty and a calm confidence about her and Charlie was the life of the party. The day was filled with laughs! Charlie is in the entertainment industry so he brought a DJ and emence from New York City and I have to say that I have never been SO entertained! Looking at Darienne and Charlie that day felt like you were watching two best friends embarking on a new adventure. I must say a highlight for me was when the officiant had forgotten to take the security tag off of his suit jacket. He absolutely owned It! Petal and Bean did an amazing job making the room pop with color and Meigan Canfield Photography captured every moment of the day!
