Breckenridge Wedding Planner: Ashley and Jonno

As a Breckenridge wedding planner I am often working with brides and grooms from other states. No complaints about that, but it’s always special to spend time planning with a local couple. Cue Ashley and Jonno. These two cuties met working together at ski school in Breckenridge, Colorado and wanted to have their fall wedding looking out at the mountains they love. Ashley kept the look classic yet rustic at The Lodge at Breckenridge with white florals and gold accents by Garden of Eden and an amazing chuppa from Tents and Events. Another local, DJ Clockwork was spinning the tunes and Drew Jensen of Drew Jensen Photography was there to capture it all. Mozal tov!
Breckenridge Wedding Planner: Carolyn & Abel

This wedding was the definition of an elopement. Just the couple, the officiant and a photographer. Carolyn and Abel are from Chicago, IL and wanted their Colorado wedding to be just the two of them. Sapphire Point was such a perfect venue for the two of them to say their ‘I do’s’. After their gorgeous sunny ceremony, they headed to Keystone for a quick photo shoot then off to dinner at the Alpenglow Stube. I love how the weather was perfectly sunny for their ceremony at Sapphire Point and then cloudy and a little snowy for their photo shoot in Keystone. Breckenridge Wedding Planner: Tim and Shane

Sometimes I can just feel the love between two people. This was absolutely the case with Tim and Shane! Tim and Shane gathered close friends and family for an intimate wedding at the Chateau of Breckenridge in late May. Chateau of Breckenridge is a beautiful luxury home in the heart of Breckenridge, managed by Paragon Lodging.
Tim and Shane packed their wedding weekend with local fun! They treated all of their guests, most of whom were from out of state, to a welcome party at Napper Tandy’s–an Irish Pub in downtown Breckenridge and distillery tours at Breckenridge Distillery. Breckenridge Wedding Planner: Kellie & Kent

Kellie and Kent became our clients from a referral from another couple we worked with. We always love referrals especially when we had as much fun with them as they did with us. Stay with me, Kellie is the sister of a groom of a couple we worked with from the year before. When I heard the last name (and it’s a unique one) I felt some deja vu and a bit of confusion. I was so excited to work with Kellie and Kent because they are such a great family and group of people. So down to the details…
From the beginning of our process you could just see how much these two loved each other. They chose Ten Mile Station for their gorgeous ceremony and reception. Beautiful sherbet tones and blues were used throughout the wedding to really make the venue and the mountain scenery pop. A huge thank you to Caroline Colvin Photography for capturing the day and sharing the wedding photos!
Breckenridge Wedding Planner: Ana & Matt

These two, if I could wrap them up and put them in my pocket I totally would. I only worked with Ana throughout the entire planning process and she is such a doll. It wasn’t until about a week out that I met her future hubby Matt for the first time. The two of them are just great people. You could see that Matt truly appreciated all of the planning that Ana had been doing and that he was so excited to marry her. Swoon! Ok, ok enough rambling on about these two. On to the details of their wedding day.
We chose the Breckenridge Nordic Center for their ceremony and reception. This is a cross country ski lodge in the winter and transforms to the most amazing wedding venue in the summer. Such a stunning place to get married. The sun was shining and the day was perfect for their outdoor nuptials. After the ceremony guests stayed outside and enjoyed some bluegrass sound from Andy Straus from the Hunker Down Band while taking in the expansive mountain views. After cocktail hour guests were asked to be seated for dinner inside the lodge. The tables were beautifully adorned with flowers from Bloom Flower Shop. Next guests listened to an amazing welcome toast given by Ana’s dad and then dinner served! Ana and Matt opted for a tasting menu style dinner that left everyone satisfied. Biscuits and Berries served this seamlessly and the food was spectacular. Then it was party time! Jay from Standing Room Only had everyone dancing throughout the evening. A huge shout out to Sarah Hays Photography. Without her extreme talent and keen eye, I wouldn’t have the amazing photos below to share with you. Enjoy!
