Alpenglow Stube Wedding Planner: Carrie & Mike

This wedding was such a fabulous family affair. Carrie and Mike were married on top of a mountain in Keystone, Colorado. The day was gorgeous and everyone was full of smiles. After the ceremony at the Keystone Keytop Overlook, guests were swept away in a gondola to the Alpenglow Stube for the reception. The couple incorporated so many personal touches. For example instead of table numbers they had the names of some of their favorite bands. Love! A big thank you to Becky at Black Forest Photo for these awesome photos!
Keystone Wedding Planner: Jill & Gabe

We have had a pretty wet summer so far, here in the mountains. This can be a challenge when you have a wedding up two mountain gondolas to get to Timber Ridge in Keystone, Colorado. Jill and Gabe must have some great vibes on their side because the rain held off all evening and the resulted in an enchanting evening. I always love some clouds (no rain) on a wedding day because it just add something theatrical to the photos. You tell me. Aren’t these moments captured, amazing?! There is nothing that beats a blanket of snow, a warm fire, and a wedding! I’ll always have a special place in my heart for winter weddings. Deedee and Konrad got married at Timber Ridge, on top of Keystone Mountain in late February, and it was spectacular! Amy and Eric had a very beautiful wedding at Timber Ridge in Keystone, Colorado. From our very first meeting, you could really see how much love these two have for each other. The small details slipped away and they just focused on each other. One of the details I loved was the utilization of the flowers. The rehearsal dinner was held the night before at the Keystone Ranch. There were so many gorgeous flowers that night and they thought in order to use the flowers for two nights, they had me pick up the flowers from the Ranch and transport them to Timber Ridge. I loved this idea because as a wedding planner I see these amazing flowers used for only one night. This way they were able to be used twice. Love! Keystone Wedding Planner: Jessica & Jeff

Jessica and Jeff are the ideal clients. Not only were they very easy to work with, but also you could see the genuine true love they have for each other. Some would say they are not the most likely couple. He is 6’4 and she is about 5’0. Seeing them together was such a great experience because he was so gentle with her and she was a fist-pumping fireball. Her brother married the happy couple at the beautiful wedding venue, Timber Ridge in Keystone, Colorado. A huge thank you to Jessica, Jeff and both families for allowing Distinctive Mountain Events to be your wedding planners for your big day!
