Keystone Ranch Wedding: Clare & Michael
Posted by elizabeth waldmann on July 20th, 2017
The Keystone Ranch has to be one of my favorite venues. I love the quirkiness of the dining room, the history in the lounge area, the modern feel in the tent and the mountain view of the golf course ceremony site. It just seems like you get so much of every feel at the Ranch. I think this is what makes couples choose to have their weddings at the Ranch. Clare and Micheal included. These two cuties said their I do’s at the Ranch. The wedding party walked down the aisle to the music of the Heart Strings Music. After the ceremony guests flowed into the tent and on the lawn for cocktail hour. Next guests moved into the dining room for a Keystone Ranch dinner. Delicious! And the center pieces, love! The garland is very in right now and Lindsay at Pots and Petals nailed the look. After that guests danced the night away to Great Time DJ. A huge thank you to Michele and Mark at IN Photography for sharing these amazing photos with us!

Breckenridge Wedding Planner: Ellen & Greg

Ellen and Greg. These two were married last September and as luck would have it, it snowed the night before so not only did they get the gorgeous yellow Aspens but they also got snow on the mountains in the background! It was so beautiful! It was a little chilly but guests stayed warm in their blanket that doubled as a wedding favor. One of my favorite moments of this wedding was that Greg’s father doubled as the officiant. There was so much love and emotion. Greg even gave his dad a hug to help him through the ceremony. After the ceremony guests filed into Ten Mile Station for the cocktail hour and then the reception. Bloom Flower Shop did all of the elegant floral arrangements. Courtney of Hampton Entertainment kept the dance floor packed all night with one hit after another. Thank you to Tim of Timothy Faust Photography for capturing the wonderful wedding day!
Colorado Wedding Planner: Julie & Sam
Posted by elizabeth waldmann on May 25th, 2017
From the beginning that I started working with Julie and Sam for their Timber Ridge wedding, Lexi Waffles was taken into consideration. What Kind of flowers she would have in her hair. Where her place would be in the processional. How she would get dinner. Who is Lexi Waffles? Well that’s their puppy of course! I didn’t have the opportunity to meet Lexi Waffles until the rehearsal. Let me tell you, she lived up to the hype 🙂 She’s so sweet! And how cute is that name?! It actually inspired Johnna to name her puppy Deacon Biscuits. Ha! On to the details!
I’m not too keen when it comes to surprises for the bride or groom. It seems that everyone likes to do this but I’m always hesitant. So when Sam’s mother asked me to help with a choreographed dance they had planned to perform after dinner, I was a little nervous. After we talked more, it made so much sense and I couldn’t wait for the day for it to happen and I could see all this hard work (and sneakiness) come together. One family is from New York and the other is from Boston. So they had a dueling dance. It was amazing and Julie and Sam loved it. Phew 🙂 A Great Time DJ did a great job with keeping this a secret and making sure everything went off without a hitch.
Ladybird Poppy Floral Design provided the amazing flowers. (Including a leash floral arrangement for Lexi Waffles, of course). A huge thank you to Matthew Speck Photography for sharing these amazing photos! Thank you Sam and Julie for asking me to be your wedding planner!
